We believe healthy plants start from the ground up!  Our soil medium is biologically active and can improve YOUR garden ecology. Plants grown in natural light with active compost result in reduced transplant shock by allowing easier adaptation to field conditions.

Plants are...

1. •Seeded locally from organic, heritage and open-pollinated seed (often our own)
   

2. •Grown in a low energy consumption greenhouse or in natural light conditions
   

3. •Irrigated with rainwater
   

4. •Free of pesticides or fertilizers
   

5. •Inoculated with Mycorrhizal Fungi for better water/nutrient absorption
   

6. •Grown in a compost based medium
   

7. •Amended with minerals such as soft rock phosphate and kelp for lasting support

9. We clean and reuse plant pots so they don’t end up in the landfill
   

Some plants in the garden can be dug up on demand. These are offered at lower prices than pre-potted.  Special orders are encouraged.
